My journey to date has been rich and diverse, spanning a multitude of practices, media, and inspirational places. After completing a Diploma in Film and Theatre Set Design at UEA, I worked with various television production companies while studying for a degree with the Open University. During this period, I embarked on a freelance career as a creative practitioner with South East Arts, meeting an eclectic group of colleagues who inspired me to paint and exhibit.

My work draws inspiration from my travels, the theme of escapism, different cultures, and a sense of contemplation and belonging through a cinematic or theatrical lens. Influenced by the works of Arthur Rackham and the Impressionist movement, I seek to uncover the new and 'otherworldly' or transformative aspects of our world, leading to serenity, contemplation, or tranquillity.

I strive to reveal the beauty and truth within nature, the environment, which is often overlooked in our hectic lives yet fundamental to our existence. Using mixed media, expressive textures, lines, and colours, I create evocative moods and often achieve serendipitous results.
